Here is what our client told us when commissioning us the design and manufacturing of a series of entrance doors in burnished brass for a villa facing the ocean, in California.
We opted for a fine material such as brass, softened by a dark bronze finish. This particular dark bronze finish is achieved through the process of natural oxidation of brass and followed by the treatment of burnishing and brushing performed by our experienced artisans on every single element that makes up these doors. This is therefore a finish that increases the artistic and artisan value of these doors, by bringing a sensation of depth and chromatic interest.

The artistic composition of the gratings is distinguished by a series of hand-forged curls, spheres and some realistic elements recalling the shapes of the algae leaves. Everything is realised in brass, a metal alloy that requires rapidity and great mastering of the art of forging to be handled.
